MPower UPS has been granted ISO 9001 2015 certification, according to Sharon Brooks, the company’s operations director. “ISO 9001 is the international standard developed to specify internal quality management systems. We have held the ISO 9001 2008 certification for several years and this covers various operating processes. The ISO9001 2015 however, focuses more on threat identification, risk mitigation and future planning with a particular focus on customer service, as well as managing the needs and expectations of both employees, customers and suppliers,” Brooks explained.
“The process to gain certification is detailed and it took several months to develop and produce the required documentation,” Brooks commented. “We are delighted to have been awarded the ISO 9001 2015 certification as it underlines our continued commitment to providing the best possible service to our valued client base. By providing documented evidence that all our management systems are in place and are consistently fit for purpose, we anticipate the certification will help us attract new customers and expand further within the UPS marketplace.”
