Hewlett Packard Enterprise has named Basefarm its Northern Europe Service Provider of the Year. Basefarm is a leading European managed service provider, offering integrated key competencies for digital innovation – big data, cloud computing and information security in one service offering. The two companies claim to have developed a strong partnership spanning more than 10 years and as Basefarm has continued to grow across Europe, with more customers needing more storage, the relationship has grown even closer and more important.
In 2017 storage was among Basefarm’s largest investment areas and the company has increased its capacity from 1 PB to 20 PB over the last four years. Today Basefarm is the largest HPE3 PAR user in Western Europe and was recently selected as one of two global partners to beta test HPE’s new Artificial Intelligence software HPE InfoSight for HPE 3PAR StoreServ.
“We are very grateful to be awarded HPE Service Provider of the Year for Northern Europe. Our customers rely on us for their mission critical services, so strong partnerships and good collaborations, like the one we have with HPE, are crucial. Machines can talk to machines but in the end it’s the people that makes the difference,” said Fredrik Ohlsén, CEO of Basefarm.
“It’s an honour to award partners who are raising the standard of business excellence,” said Paul Hunter, Worldwide Head of Partner Sales, HPE. “HPE is committed to enabling mutual growth with channel partners, and our awards recognize those who develop business opportunities with our joint customers.”
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced winners of the 2018 HPE Partner of the Year Awards at its annual Global Partner Summit in Las Vegas. Winners were recognised for outstanding performance and accomplishments, and for driving meaningful business results for shared customers, the company said.
