Sudlows to offer data centre design and build services as part of NEUPC Framework

Sudlows has been appointed to the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium Framework for the provision of Data Centre Management equipment and Infrastructure. This will enable Sudlows to offer its design and build technical services for data centre project work across all of the UK’s universities.

NEUPC is one of six UK Higher Education purchasing consortia established to deliver and manage a wide range of collaborative framework agreements designed to maximise third party expenditure within the higher education sector.

Sudlows has been awarded a three year framework in which its services will be available to all of the UK’s universities, with the company having already delivered projects for several UK educational institutions. This includes The University of Central Lancashire, Manchester University, The University of Portsmouth and SOAS University of London.

Chris Dummett, commercial director, Sudlows commented, “We have been providing world class data centre facilities to the education sector for nearly 20 years. We’re thrilled that we can now offer our NEUPC framework customers our full experience in critical infrastructures from audit, design, build, testing and maintenance. The team at Sudlows will ensure that all NEUPC customers will be able to access our expertise and we look forward to working collaboratively to create facilities of all sizes fit for the next generation of education.”
