Legrand UK and Ireland has partnered with Power Control Ltd for the sale, distribution, installation and servicing of its new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) offering.

The new partnership, to take immediate effect, will see Legrand’s Trimod HE, Trimod MCS and Keor MOD modular three-phase UPS ranges available for sale in the UK for the first time.

Power Control brings over two decades of experience in the field, providing a complete service offering from design and commissioning right through to servicing and maintenance.

Jonathan Tookey, technical sales manager for UPS at Legrand UK and Ireland said, “Legrand has been operating within the digital infrastructure space for many years and is constantly adapting to reflect the needs of the marketplace.

“This new partnership is an exciting opportunity for the business, bringing our proven UPS technology to UK shores.”

Designed with modular architecture as a fundamental enabler, the Keor MOD, Trimod HE and Trimod MCS UPS ranges guarantee enhanced performance levels. In fact, optimised energy efficiency can ensure power demand is as close as possible to the actual requirement, reducing any potential losses.

The range has been selected to provide UK customers with a good breadth of offer, depending on the needs and size of the application.

Trimod HE UPS for example, is a three-phase Uninterruptible Power Supply featuring plug and play technology with the possibility for N+X redundancy. The single-phase modules are self-configuring and deliver a rated power of 10-80kW.

The Trimod MCS series is designed in compliance with the EN 50171 standard and is the ideal solution for installation in buildings that are subject to the fire safety regulations, in particular for the supply of emergency lighting systems.

The Trimod MCS can also be used to supply alarm systems, smoke extraction equipment, carbon monoxide detection as well as specific safety systems in sensitive areas.

For larger applications such as data centres, the Keor MOD offers a three-phase online double conversation UPS with PWM High Efficiency as well as modular architecture, with the possibility for N+X redundancy. Keor MOD power modules also present high efficiency levels of up to 97% in double conversion mode.

Tom Nicholson, director at Power Control said, “We are delighted to partner with Legrand UK. Their extensive product knowledge and reputation for quality products, combined with our experience in critical energy solutions, is a great combination and we can’t wait to get started.”
