ServerChoice expands Stevenage data centre

ServerChoice has opened a new data hall as demand increases at its Stevenage data centre.

The Stevenage site is ServerChoice’s third location alongside its data centres in Harlow and Central London. The new hall will allow the facility to expand its operations and capacity.

The hall will provide an extra 47 racks and utilise hot aisle containment, to provide greater efficiency with no limit on rack loading. Each rack will receive 2x 32A (15 kW) of power, backed up by a dedicated UPS and generator.

ProjectJet, a colocation connectivity platform which uses the latest Juniper fusion clusters, will provide connectivity for the new hall.

Adam Bradshaw, Commercial Director at ServerChoice, said: “We are proud to be expanding our offerings at ServerChoice with a new data hall. We’ve seen demand increase for services from our Stevenage data centre, and this new expansion will help us continue to deliver for our customers.

“With many businesses facing uncertainty, flexibility to respond to changing events is a priority. Our new data hall means we can offer this flexibility to more businesses, and provide them with 100% uptime to help them navigate the coming months and years.”
