A team of employees from Telehouse International Corporation of Europe took part in the Saucony London 10K run, raising £6,000 for the First Love Foundation and Leaders in Community charities.

The funds raised from the run will help support the continued work carried out by the charities.

Initially a food bank, First Love Foundation offers support to help individuals get their lives back on track when dealing with issues around poverty and crisis. This includes preventing wrongful evictions, supporting domestic abuse victims, and reclaiming benefits.

Leaders in Community focuses on empowering young people in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, through their Youth Leadership and Youth Social Action initiatives. The charity is peer-led, with a majority of its committee members being young people who took part in the charity’s programmes.

Telehouse is also working with both charities on other initiatives to provide support for people living in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Mark Pestridge, Executive Vice President & General Manager at Telehouse Europe said, “At Telehouse, we strongly believe in giving back to the communities we are part of. Our participation in the London 10K and our ongoing support for First Love Foundation and Leaders in Community reflect our dedication to making a positive difference. By supporting these organisations, we aim to address immediate needs and contribute to long-term community resilience. This aligns with our broader environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy, which emphasizes community engagement and social inclusion.”
