Colt Data Centre Services has begun construction on its third data centre in Frankfurt, Germany.
This latest site will provide 32.4 MW of IT power capacity, and will provide direct access to DE-CIX, one of the world’s largest internet exchange points, as well as multiple dark fibre providers.
Colt DCS has said that it has procured 100% renewable energy across its entire European estate, which will power the new Tier-III facility.
The design of all of Colt DCS’ new builds will also accommodate liquid cooling and high-density rack layouts, with flexibility to deliver hybrid solutions where required.
