Sabey Data Centers has completed the first building of its data centre campus in Round Rock, Texas.

The campus, SDC Austin, will provide 84 MW of critical power capacity upon completion. The facility will support liquid cooling and high-density computing environments, offering capabilities of up to 200 kW per cabinet.

Sabey has said the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) has been confirmed as a customer for the campus, which will house Horizon, an academic supercomputer dedicated to open-scientific research.

“With our new Round Rock campus, Sabey reinforces its position as an industry leader delivering world-class data center facilities,” said Rob Rockwood, President of Sabey Data Centers.

“This investment in the Austin market provides enterprises and hyperscalers with sustainable, secure and highly connected capacity to scale their digital operations.”

“We are very pleased to announce the expansion of the SDC portfolio with the completion of the first building on our Austin data centre campus,” added Jeffrey Kanne, President and CEO of National Real Estate Advisors and Vice Chairman of Sabey Data Centers.

“The development of state-of-the-art facilities, such as SDC Austin, reflects our strategic commitment to investing in dynamic industries, capitalising on sustainable opportunities, and striving to deliver strong returns to our clients.”
