Salute is set to bolster its European operations with the proposed acquisition of Keysource Group.
The acquisition remains subject to regulatory approval but is expected to close at the beginning of Q2 2025. Upon completion, Salute will have expanded its EMEA workforce to more than 500, adding 130 new employees to its existing global team of over 1,800.
Salute says that it’s eager to incorporate Keysource’s expertise in areas such as energy optimisation, sustainability and AI readiness to help it be better positioned to cater to the growing demand for AI-driven infrastructure. In terms of sustainability, Keysource has been a key player in ensuring that it delivers on making the data centre sector greener, with the firm appointing a sustainability lead just last year.
Erich Sanchack, CEO of Salute, commented, “The acquisition of Keysource Group and its range of advisory services will strengthen our ability to support the rapid change in advanced technology such as AI, for data centre operations across Europe.
“While we already have a strong team providing technical design, build and operations advice in the Americas, we sought out the opportunity to enhance our EMEA operations. The exceptional talent and expertise that Keysource brings align perfectly with Salute’s mission to better serve our customers on the ground in all regions.”
