maincubes, a data centre owner/operator providing ‘made-in-Germany’ colocation data centre infrastructure, has announced the commissioning and availability of two large ‘wholesale’ suites at its recently opened data centre in the Amsterdam area in the Netherlands.
The 47,361ft2 (4,400m2) facility totals 4.7MW of IT power and maincubes has a 11,840ft2(1,100m2) private data centre suite available with a capacity of 1.7MW. The other private suite being offered in Amsterdam counts 9,687ft2 (900m2) and is able to support 1.3MW.
The two newly commissioned private suites at maincubes’ Amsterdam AMS01 data centre feature a systematic German engineering design. These ‘wholesale’ suites are being offered ‘turnkey’ though fully customisable, allowing for business autonomy and maximum levels of security and IT control.
The 11,840ft2 and 9,687ft2 private data centre suites are aimed at Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers, Over-The-Top (OTT) Media Service Providers, technology startups/scale-ups and enterprise organisations alike wishing to establish or expand their European data centre presence in the Amsterdam metropolitan area – one of the largest internet hubs in the world.
‘Made-in-Germany’
Part of a hybrid retail and wholesale colocation offering at maincubes’ Amsterdam AMS01 data centre, the two private data centre suites have access to a wide variety of ‘made-in-Germany’ amenities onsite including:

The German data centre engineering principles deployed into the maincubes Amsterdam AMS1 data centre, as well as the facility’s standardised operational processes and procedures, are embedded in the company’s history, stated maincubes CEO Olivier Menzel
