It’s been a great year for Hyve Managed Hosting, with the company having successfully reached a number of major business and technology milestones in 2018. This has increased its year-on-year combined global revenue by over 50% to £5.5million – its most successful year since the company was founded in 2001.

In November, Hyve was also named ‘Cloud Company of the Year’ at the 2018 SVC Awards, at a ceremony in London. Key 2018 achievements include Hyve’s expansion into the US and Central American hosting and cloud markets in a partnership with Equinix, establishing its presence across 35 data centres. Hyve is offering US customers a range of hosting, managed cloud, colocation and connectivity services, backed by a locally based 24/7 service and support team.

Hyve also launched a successful customer service guarantee, Hyve RapidReplacement, designed to ensure that in the event of a hardware failure in a data centre, the affected technology will be replaced within 20 minutes.

With other hosting providers offering between 1-4 hour hardware replacement service levels – often seen as the industry standard – Hyve’s ability to deliver a better level of service provides customers with business continuity at all times.

In addition, Hyve has also made several significant technology investments, including the launch of a fully managed, private cloud-based virtual hypervisor service, offering a highly cost-effective way for businesses to run virtual dedicated hosts with the same functionality, previously only possible within physical server environments. Hyve also expanded its DevOps and professional services capabilities in order to bid for government-issued tenders through the Digital Marketplace.

Nasir Rafiq, IT manager at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, commented, “Hyve have provided reliability, performance, value for money and strong service capabilities for Queen Victoria Hospital for the past 10 years.”

“Hyve has made tremendous progress in 2018, with significant growth in the UK and USA,” explained Jake Madders, director at Hyve Managed Hosting. “This has been possible because we’ve kept our business ethos at the heart of everything we do, which is to ensure we understand our customers and give them the very best service possible.
