Since the start of this year, tech services training company FDM Group has welcomed over 2,000 new consultants into its academy.
Throughout the year, FDM has offered graduate, ex-forces and return-to-work programmes to recruit new talent into the tech and business industries.
The company revealed that Software Development was the most popular programme, accounting for more than one fifth of this year’s candidates. FDM stated that the job roles being targeted include software development, project management, technical operations and security management.
FDM Group also focussed on gender equality in the workplace, and has said its median gender pay gap has dropped to -9.6%.
“We are extremely proud of our continued commitment to placing individuals, including graduates, ex-forces returners, and those looking to return to work after a career break, into their dream job role,” said Rod Flavell, CEO for FDM Group.
“This programme simultaneously supports the UK economy and critical businesses, which are always on the look out to plug specialist and skilled job vacancies, often related to professional services or STEM subjects.”
