Wisconsin-based data centre Data Holdings has acquired a Data Centre as a Service (DCaaS) company Stack41.
Founded in 2014, Stack41 previously operated as a services partner from within Data Holdings’ Milwaukee facility, as well as operating hosting and data backup services out of a 100% uptime facility in Minneapolis. Stack41 will continue to service customers in both locations as Data Holdings.
Data Holdings said in a statement that the merger will allow the company to provide a comprehensive combined services portfolio to customers, leveraging Stack41’s experience in IoT sensor, network, and software.
The Stack41 team will be appointed into several new positions at Data Holdings including General Manager, Vice President Of Business Development, Network Engineer and Network Operations CentreTechnician.

Built in 2013, Data Holdings is a subsidiary of the Potawatomi Business Development Corporation.
