Cybersecurity threats are continually evolving, always ready to exploit changes in technology and how we use it, end-user naivety, and our increasingly digitised world.
Staying one step ahead of malicious actors is the challenge we must meet now and in the future: as technology becomes more and more sophisticated, so will the cyber criminals who seek to cause havoc, both at a global and an individual consumer scale.
But what’s the answer? Do we democratise cybersecurity, upskilling end-users to be more wary of threats? Do we need to change the role of the CISO and empower them further? Do we have enough cybersecurity talent to win the war against increasingly wily cyber criminals?
At Critical Insight 2022, Paul Gribbon, Cybersecurity Senior Manager at Reliance ACSN, will be talking about the new cybersecurity challenges we’re faced with – and how we can neutralise them.
Paul is a cybersecurity and data privacy professional with over 20 years of experience in security management, information assurance, and project delivery. He works at board and senior management level, helping to develop strategy and provide advice and assurance in business-critical areas.
Paul has extensive experience of implementing and assessing organisations against a variety of security and privacy frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and NIST 800-53, Cyber Essentials, and GDPR / DPA 2018. Having worked for systems integrators, management consultancies and the ‘Big 4’ audit houses, Paul has held several ‘virtual’ CISO positions for commercial and public sector organisations and is certified by the NCSC and ISACA.
He’ll be giving his insight into what the future holds and how we can stay ahead of the game, so don’t miss his session and more at the two-day only event, 2022 Critical insight.
