HPC infrastructure provider Northern Data Group has launched three new divisional brands: Taiga Cloud, Ardent Data Centers and Peak Mining.

Northern Data Group, as the parent company, will use its newly created brands to focus on three core business areas.

Taiga Cloud will function as the company’s generative AI cloud service provider, offering scalable GPU compute power across Europe.

Ardent Data Centers will provide purpose-built data centre environments made to support next-gen HPC.

Peak Mining will operate within the Bitcoin mining network.

The new divisions will be steered by Northern’s three Managing Directors: Karl Havard at Taiga Cloud; Corey Needles at Ardent Data Centers; and Niek Beudeker at Peak Mining.

Aroosh Thillainathan, Northern Data’s Group Chief Executive Officer, said,` “We are operating in a time of extraordinary market growth with record demand for technological innovation and acceleration. The global generative AI boom has triggered immense growth in the demand for compute power. The launch of Taiga, Ardent and Peak and as three distinct brands enables us to capitalise on the market opportunities within each sector and under the leadership of Karl, Corey and Niek we look forward to continued innovation that has become synonymous with the Northern Data Group business.”
