Legrand has announced the acquisitions of two new companies – one within the data centre sector, and the second in the cabling industry.

UPSistemas, which is based in Bogota, Colombia, specialises in the integration, maintenance and monitoring of technical infrastructures, in particular for data centres. Employing more than 300 people, UPSistemas reports an annual revenue of around €30 million.

Following Legrand’s acquisitions of Netrack, Davenham and Vass, UPSistemas marks the company’s fourth acquisition this year within the data centre sector.

Australian Plastic Profiles (APP) is a cable management specialist based in Sydney, employing around 250 people with an annual revenue of over €100 million. According to Legrand, this acquisition will see the company double its presence in Australia.

Benoît Coquart, Director General at Legrand, commented, “Our external growth is particularly vigorous this year, with seven operations announced to date representing annualised revenue of nearly €350 million.

“We will maintain this momentum in coming quarters as we continue to strengthen our positions through targeted and complementary acquisitions.”
