Opengear appoints Senior Vice President & General Manager

Opengear has announced the appointment of Patrick Quirk as Senior Vice President and General Manager.

Quirk joins Opengear from Nautilus Data Technologies, where he served as Chief Technology Officer. His prior experience includes executive roles at Vertiv, where he was President of Avocent Corp and Vice President and General Manager for the IT Systems business, as well as senior positions at Emerson Network Power, LSI, and Motorola.

Quirk will oversee Opengear’s global operations, driving the company’s strategic plans for growth.

Commenting on his new role, Quirk said, “I have long admired Opengear for its innovative approach to network resilience and management, especially during my previous tenure, where I closely observed their positive impact on the industry. Joining Opengear at this stage is an exciting opportunity to build on its strong foundation and drive further advancements.
