Giga Computing unveils ‘world-first’ RTX Pro server

Giga Computing, a subsidiary of GIGABYTE Group, has announced the XL44-SX2-AAS1 – an Nvidia RTX Pro Server that combines up to eight Nvidia RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs with an Nvidia BlueField-3 DPU and four Nvidia ConnectX-8 SuperNICs to tackle inference, simulation and other data-heavy AI workloads.

The system follows Nvidia’s MGX modular reference design and is pitched at enterprises looking to consolidate compute and networking for multi-GPU training and inference. Each RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU carries 96GB of GDDR7 memory, while BlueField-3 provides 400Gb/s of data-plane bandwidth to accelerate access to storage and enforce runtime security.

Specs and software

GPUs: Up to 8x Nvidia RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition (96GB GDDR7 each).

Networking: 4x Nvidia ConnectX-8 SuperNICs supporting 8 PCIe Gen6 x16 GPU channels, up to 800Gb/s InfiniBand or Ethernet per GPU, plus 2×400GbE external links for east-west traffic and GPU-to-GPU communication.

DPU: Nvidia BlueField-3 at 400Gb/s for offloaded networking, storage and security.

Platform: Dual Intel Xeon 6700/6500-series CPUs, 32 DDR5 DIMMs, and 3+1 redundant 3,200W 80 PLUS Titanium power supplies for 24/7 operation.

On the software side, the server is pre-integrated with Nvidia AI Enterprise, including Nvidia NIM microservices, with support for Nvidia Omniverse libraries for digital twins and Nvidia Cosmos world foundation models to extend workflows from simulation to ‘physical AI’. The system supports Windows, Linux, Kubernetes and virtualisation to drop into existing x86 data centres without wholesale infrastructure changes.

Giga Computing says the platform covers workloads spanning AI agents and reasoning, inference, scientific computing, 3D simulations and video processing. The firm also claims up to 5x AI inference performance gains versus the prior generation, positioning the box for use cases such as smart manufacturing, financial modelling, medical research, 3D content creation and large language model inference.

Availability

The GIGABYTE XL44-SX2-AAS1 with Nvidia RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, Nvidia BlueField-3 DPU and Nvidia ConnectX-8 SuperNICs will be generally available from October 2025.
