Schneider Electric has promoted Karlton Gray to Director, Channels, UK & Ireland, with a brief to align its partner ecosystem around rising demand for AI infrastructure, data centres, IT modernisation and energy efficiency.
The move is designed to bring closer collaboration across EcoXpert partners, IT channel partners, operational technology (OT), electrical (ET) specialists and the mid-market in the UK and Ireland. Gray will also work with segment teams serving education, healthcare, life sciences and automotive customers.
The company says the expanded remit aims to help partners capture opportunities linked to AI-driven infrastructure and critical power projects, while supporting energy efficiency upgrades as organisations modernise their estates.
“Across the UK & Ireland, we are seeing significant demand for AI-driven infrastructure, data centres and critical power projects, and with it, greater requirements for IT modernisation services and energy efficiency upgrades,” said Karlton Gray, Director, Channels, UK & Ireland, Schneider Electric.
“By bringing together our IT, OT, ET and EcoXpert specialists we can deliver turnkey solutions and create new opportunities to drive impact across the region. I am delighted to take on this expanded role and to be working with a much broader range of partners across our ecosystem.”
“Karlton has demonstrated strong leadership, resilience and an unwavering commitment to both his team and our partners,” commented Mark Yeeles, Vice President, Secure Power, UK & Ireland.
“This additional responsibility reflects not only his impressive track record but also the critical role our partners play in enabling AI infrastructure, sustainability and energy efficiency for our customers across the UK & Ireland. I am delighted to see Karlton take on this expanded role and have no doubt he will make a significant impact.”
