Leaseweb UK has appointed Terry Storrar as its new managing director, with Storrar overseeing the hosting provider’s business development and operations within the UK.
The Dutch-based global hosting provider has grown considerably over the last few years, with its last five years of growth exceeding double the market average. Its UK business has also added new data centres to its portfolio to ensure it keeps up with the company’s growth.
Storrar will be hoping to continue the company’s growth, with him set to pay particular attention to expanding the company’s cloud product portfolio.

“The company has experienced twice the market average growth over the last few years, with a 22% increase in data centre locations worldwide. Considering that cloud adoption among enterprises also continues to accelerate, I am confident that Leaseweb’s wide variety of offerings and expertise in this space will continue to effectively serve those organisations looking to bolster their IT environments.”
Storrar brings over 20 years of experience across a range of specialised services to Leaseweb UK. He has worked in managed services, cloud, hosting, implementation and architecture, and is reported to have a razor sharp focus on execution and delivering exceptional value for customers.
Throughout his career, Storrar has worked in director-level roles for several UK entities, including Annodata Ltd. and Wirebird Ltd. His experience working at organisations of varied sizes – from startups to national enterprises – was attractive to Leaseweb UK as they say it means Storrar understands the importance of centring on the initiation, development and implementation of effective strategies in order to deliver organisational success. His focus is on efficient and healthy engagement with all stakeholders, from clients to team members, and always proactively seeking out new opportunities.
