Harting gears up for three-day Industrial Ethernet Week in 2025

Harting has announced the return of its Industrial Ethernet Week, a three-day virtual conference dedicated to exploring the future of industrial transformation.

Taking place from February 25-27, 2025, the event will bring together technical experts, industry pioneers, and digitalisation specialists to discuss solutions that can help decarbonise industry and unlock new efficiencies.

Who is attending and what to expect

Leading voices from global market leaders will share insights through user cases, panel discussions, talks, and tech sessions across the three days. Attendees will hear from organisations like ZVEI and 1KOMMA5°, which will delve into how integrated energy systems and intelligent control solutions can enable both industrial growth and environmental sustainability.

Day one: Connecting the All Electric Society

Kicking off on February 25, the first day centres on connecting the All Electric Society. ZVEI will outline how integrated energy systems can support economic expansion while slashing carbon emissions, and 1KOMMA5° will demonstrate AI-based control and electricity storage solutions for renewables. A closing panel discussion will highlight the role of seamless data communication over Industrial Ethernet in driving efficiency gains.

Day two: Single Pair Ethernet and smart farming

On 26 February, Harting’s technical experts will present sessions on Single Pair Ethernet (SPE), covering everything from applications and standardisation to connectors, cabling, and switches. Meanwhile, industry leaders from CLAAS and ANEDO will show how digitalisation is optimising modern agriculture, offering new trends and greater efficiency for farmers through smart farming technologies.

Day three: Spotlight on railway and automation applications

The final day on February 27 shines a light on digitalisation in railway and automation. Product experts will explore cutting-edge railway projects such as the Digital Automatic Coupling (DAC) initiative for freight wagons, along with details of its emerging standardisation.

Another focal point will be One Cable Connectivity, showcasing how reducing cabling complexity supports motion and drive solutions while fostering industry-wide standardisation.

How to join

Sessions will run each day from 8:30am to 11:00am. Registration is now open, and participants can choose to attend the entire three-day event or select specific talks. Anyone who registers will also have access to on-demand recordings of every session.
