The Data Centre Review (DCR) Excellence Awards has unveiled its shortlist for 2025, marking the first time that the awards have gone solo following their separation from a joint event with Electrical Review.
Winners for the DCR Excellence Awards are to be announced on May 14, and with an expanded set of categories on offer, it’s clear this year’s awards aim to recognise an even broader spectrum of achievements across the data centre sector.
“Last year’s event was always going to be hard to top – but for this year, we really wanted to shine a light on the excellence being delivered from across the data centre sector, and the industry really responded,” commented Emily Szweda, Marketing Manager for the DCR Excellence Awards.
“We have had the highest number of responses we’ve ever received and no doubt the judges are going to have a hard time deciding the winner for each category – especially with the exceptionally high calibre of entries.”
This year’s awards ceremony is also adopting a new look, moving from its long-standing home at Christ Church, Spitalfields, to the iconic Oxo Tower on London’s South Bank. The change in venue promises a fresh twist on the standard awards format and an atmosphere to match the ambitious spirit of the DCR Excellence Awards.
