EfficiencyIT has appointed Matthew Hughes as its new Technical Director.
Following the launch of EfficiencyIT’s ModularDC range of prefabricated data centres earlier this year, Hughes will help steer the company’s expansion across EMEA. With 25 years of experience in the data centre industry, Hughes will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical specification, implementation, installation in his new role.
Hughes began his career in the digital infrastructure sector at PK Electronics, before launching a specialist infrastructure and UPS consultancy, and working with Schneider Electric’s Elite Partners in the UK and Ireland.
As an advocate for training and apprenticeships and for STEM careers, Hughes will also champion the company’s apprenticeship schemes as the company grows.
