Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) will be the first UK public sector organisation to select RISE with SAP to transform its IT and technology infrastructure, in a bid to deliver more efficient services to local residents.
Supporting a local population of around 630,000 residents, GCC provides a wide range of public services. According to a statement from SAP, GCC will adopt SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Analytics Cloud to help modernise the delivery of the council’s core capabilities, including finance and human resources. The council also hopes to deliver automated and simplified business processes using real-time data insights.
RISE with SAP will be adopted via the public sector Back Office Solutions framework.

As the first RISE with SAP customer in the UK public sector, we’re excited to be paving the way for other public sector organisations looking to modernise their services.”
