atNorth has acquired High Performance Computing (HPC) and data centre services provider Gompute.
Founded in 2002, Gompute’s worked to develop solutions for increasing HPC workloads and applications. atNorth will add Gompute’s 10 MW data centre in Gothenburg, Sweden to its portfolio.
atNorth has said that Gompute’s advanced HPC technology and experienced engineers will work in conjunction with atNorth’s HPC-as-a-service solution and colocation platform to provide customers with a pan-nordic full stack offering.
“Gompute has been at the forefront of running hugely sophisticated high-performance applications for high-profile organisations with some of the industry’s most highly skilled engineers for over 20 years,” said atNorth’s CEO, Eyjolfur Magnús Kristinsson.
